How many of u guys were prefects in your high schools? We learnt a few things about the 'ex-prefects' during dinner time today...just want to make sure that i am so wrong...

but then again, i guess u are an exception in our survey. want to know if there are "others" out there...those who hide behind the badges and the ties! ;)

i'm a prefect during primary and throughout secondary school too....
and NO....i didn't hide behind my badges and ties....wat better way to rebel against the establishment than being a part of it itself??

you must understand that the prefects not only work for the school admin but they are first and foremost the student representatives! the student's welfare comes first. i've gone against the school admin many times just to protect the welfare of the students. unfortunately, the students only see prefects as henchmen of the school admin bent on making the lives of the students horrible and does not know of the many battles we have fought for them behind closed doors.

sure we have "advantages" but for me living in boarding school has different environment...trivial matters doesn't concern me...who cares la i come late to school(other students dun care too)....it's wat kshern said dat make me still hang on being a prefect.

1)watever I told u is true…..i do break rules…in a good world,I’m not a perfect prefect…ponteng class?i did dat….datang lambat??guilty….
2)i thot I olredi said mah…we’ve different environment in our school…different environment demands different actions no?
3)since kshern asked,I’ll make things completely clear…if not he said I marah-marah plak…harhar…...this personal story I told during dinner time (not personal anymore I guess) is true-life account…my discipline teacher gave me this limited option,either I become a prefect or he’ll make sure I would never be accepted to any student posts in my school.this includes the student representative body.(bear in mind dat in most boarding schools the student body and the prefects have substantial influences to other students)….guess,he thinks I’m too anti-establishment to be safely selected as student representative…harhar…..so,in the end,you have one prefect who is in the 1st place a school rebel huh?did my discipline teacher did right?yes….he gave me life lessons dat I can find no where else….(for further private story,come and ask me in person ya?very uncomfortable telling private story here…)
Must be some ppl wonder y I need 2 explain so damn long…I eat the chilli,dat’s y la I rasa pedas…harhar… kryptiq did make it sound dat being a prefect is such a crime.

my batch of prefects were mostly anti-establishment guys...my seniors were smart enough to rope us in so that they solve already half the problem! :P
