mystery of the day (yesterday):
kshern & kryptiq heard someone whistling a tune in the lab downstairs
why mystery?
no one admitted to whistling that tune...
we didn't imagine the thing because BOTH of us heard it. and we both figured out the song (we heard a chinese tune: tong hua...)
but nobody admitted.
so, conclusion: lab downstairs has a whistling oven, because we heard it when 'You' opened the oven. (actually he was our prime suspect...but he denied it till the end....)
anybody have any theories?

erm...the chinese undergraduate girl knows ventriloquism and projected her whistling to the other side of the lab near the oven (where 'you' were standing) all the way from where she was sitting (at the computer at the other corner of the lab)? :P
anyone understand what i'm saying? i'm confused myself...
maybe some mouses there? :-P
mice in our lab?!? that's a horrible thought! and they know how to whistle 'tong hua'?!? :P
if 'you' really didn't whistle, then maybe our lab indeed has a 'resident'...
hey kshern....got mice la at ur lab...last night, chepah confess dat she witnessed one koreking ur lab's bakul sampah.hor......
mebbe there IS a ghost in ur lab..have y'all ever considered that??i know my lab have our own "post-doc" that creaks the chairs and make small noises in the middle of the night.......
eh....rerama, even if it is a mice but i am pretty sure they don't have the ability to whistle 'tong hua' for the momment...but no guarantee in the future...:P
conclusion, there IS a resident is urs lab....maybe our post-doc move to their lab already....:P
don't la....sometimes i work early in the morning and late at night one...worse still most of the time i have to work with the lights off!!! :(
whts the story of post doc???????????????????????????
looks like vani doesn't know the post-doc story....let's not tell her! after she won't come back from india!!
anyways, the mice whistling chinese tunes? hmm...not a bad theory at all. i'll take it ;)
